Problem 45 rpm with the Thorens TD160
How can you solve the problem with your Thorens TD160 when the turntable doesn't run at 45 speed?
The solution consists of two points.
1. Cleaning with pure alcohol:
- the motor spindle,
- platter
- belt
2. Use a new belt.
It is important that you use it as cleanly as possible alcohol. Spirits won't do the trick.
So don't bend the metal adjuster of the motor.
